Cuestionados – League of Quiz: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains what information the Cuestionados – League of Quiz app ("the app", "we") collects, why, who it is shared with, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It applies to the app on Android and iOS.
Who is responsible
The app is developed by DiabloApps, which is responsible for your information. Contact: cuestionados.loq@gmail.com
What information we collect
Information you give us
- Your player profile: the nickname you choose, your avatar (one of the app's images or, if you sign in with Google and choose it, your Google profile picture), the flag you pick and your profile phrase.
- Game content: your games, answers, scores, rankings, trophies, friends list, and the questions you submit or rate.
- Chat blocks and chat settings: the players and chats you block and what you turn off in Settings → Chat, so that our server does not deliver you those messages, on any of your devices.
- Chat messages: they are delivered to the other player through push notifications and stored on the players' devices and, if a player has their phone's backup turned on, in that backup (Google on Android, iCloud on iOS), under their own account. Our server does not keep them; if a notification cannot be delivered straight away, it waits on the server until it is sent and is then deleted.
- Sign in with Google (optional): if you use it, Google sends us a sign-in token that we use only to identify your account, so you can recover it on another device. We do not store your email address or any other data from your Google account, except your profile picture if you choose it as your avatar.
Information collected automatically
- Account identifiers: a player ID and the recovery code the app generates for your account.
- IP address: we keep the IP address of your last connection to our server, for security purposes.
- Push notification token: an identifier from Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and Apple Push Notification service, used only to send you game, challenge and chat notifications. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
- App version, so the server can tell you when an update is required.
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google) sends us a report with technical information about the crash and your device (model, operating system version, app version, free memory and disk space). It is not linked to your player account and is used only to fix bugs.
Information collected by our advertising partners (see "Advertising" below): your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS), approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about the ads you see and interact with.
We do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, precise location or payment information.
How we use your information and on what legal basis
- To run the game (performance of our agreement with you, the terms of use you accept when you play): create your account, match you with other players, keep scores and rankings, deliver chat messages, show your profile to other players, let you recover your account and send you the notifications you have enabled.
- To keep the service secure and fix bugs (our legitimate interest in a fair and working game): your IP address and crash reports.
- To show ads that fund the game: personalized ads only with your consent where the law requires it (see below); otherwise, non-personalized ads.
Your nickname, avatar, flag, profile phrase, scores and rankings are visible to other players.
Advertising
The app shows ads from Google AdMob and Unity Ads. These companies may use your advertising identifier and other device information to show ads, measure them and, if you allow it, personalize them.
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy and terms → GDPR consent.
- US states with privacy laws: you can opt out of the use of your information for personalized ads from the same option, Settings → Privacy and terms → GDPR consent (see "Your US state privacy rights").
- iOS: the app asks for permission to track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, your IDFA is not shared.
- You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
Their privacy policies:
- Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Unity: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We only share it with the service providers that make the app work: Google (Sign in with Google, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob), Apple (push notifications on iOS) and Unity (ads), as described above. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How we protect your information
Data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted. Access to our servers is restricted.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile is removed as described below. Your nickname stays in the game history and rankings, and the IP address of your last connection is kept for security purposes. Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account from the app: Settings → Delete account, then type the confirmation word (DELETE). When you do:
- Your account is closed permanently. Nobody can sign in to it or recover it again, not even with Google or the recovery code.
- Your push notification tokens are deleted, so you will not receive any more notifications.
- Your Google profile picture, profile phrase, friends list, chat blocks and chat settings are deleted.
- Your nickname, the app avatar and flag you chose, your game history and your rankings remain, so that other players' games, statistics and rankings stay complete.
If you also want your nickname to be replaced with an anonymous name, email us at cuestionados.loq@gmail.com with your player ID (shown in Settings) and we will do it within 30 days. You can also email us to delete your account if you no longer have the app installed.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw your consent for personalized ads at any time (see "Advertising"). To do so, email cuestionados.loq@gmail.com with your player ID. We will answer within one month.
If you are in the European Union and think we have not handled your information correctly, you can file a complaint with your data protection authority; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (https://www.aepd.es).
Your US state privacy rights
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access it, to correct it, to delete it and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. We do not sell your information for money, but letting our advertising partners use your advertising identifier to show personalized ads may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some of these laws. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy and terms → GDPR consent. For the other rights, email us. We will not treat you differently for using them.
Earlier versions of the app allowed signing in with Facebook. The current app does not use Facebook and does not collect any Facebook data. If you used it before and want your Facebook ID removed from our database, email us.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country; 14 in Spain), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.

Cuestionados – League of Quiz: Política de privacidad
- Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy y https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Unity: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
Guardamos tu información mientras exista tu cuenta.
